Visited link colours

There has recently been some discussion on [site community profile] dw_suggestions of having visited links be a different colour from unvisited links. There's a request for it to be changed for Tropospherical in particular.

Does this count as an accessibility issue, and if so, is it worth pushing it forwards at all? It sounds like the sort of thing which should be a quick fix.

Actually, for optimal accessibility color should not be the only means of differentiating different types of links. Different colors and bold or not bold or different sorts of underlines would be best. This is an accessibility issue, but with the miracle of CSS, fairly easy to fix.
