stub documentation created

it occurs to me that several times someone in this community (sometimes me) has said "let's document this" and we get some really good information into various comment threads in community postings. I want to make sure we don't lose any of that, so I've created a list of documentation we want to create pointing to those conversations, so that we can create initial content and then work with the [site community profile] dw_docs team to turn the appropriate ones into official documents. ( In all cases where they sign off on the documents, of course.)

Ricky, I hope this is okay!

It's fantastic! Thank you.

Note about the CAPTCHAs - we don't have them on signup but they are around for some situations for commenting (journal users can turn them on for anon commenting, for eg). But we have added an email address to contact if you can't cope with the CAPTCHA at every place a CAPTCHA exists, so that one's covered as best as possible.

The only one I remember thinking of that you missed is documents explaining to users how to best use their own browser's capabilities. It's not Dreamwidth specific at all but often can be the best solution to some stuff - "the font is too small" is best solved with increasing the browser text size with command-plus (Windows: control-plus) for example. Do these exist anywhere else? If they do, we should point to them, if not we should write them although perhaps not on DW?
