Huh, I'm playing with this now. For me they're inside the placeholder, but clickable without activating the placeholder; aesthetically a little weird but functional. Is that the behavior you're seeing?

And OH WEIRD Opera for Windows -- I didn't see the double link behaviour because it's not true if I activate the placeholder with a keyboard, only if I physically click with a mouse. Wtf?
